So way back when I was a single mother, I would occasionally have to go out of town for work for short periods of time. My mom would usually keep Ty while I was gone. I still vividly remember the first time after Jason and I were engaged and I had to go out of town. We decided Jase would take care of Ty while I was gone and when we told Ty, we thought he'd be excited at the extra guy time without old Mom. Instead, he piped up with "Oh great, guess I get to eat meat and noodles for an entire week". Yeah, he was around 6 years old and more observant than us...too funny...we'd never noticed or realized that meat and noodles were all Jason ever cooked. Kids see more than we do sometimes. It was like a light bulb lit up in the room and we all had a good laugh. Gosh that feels like ages ago, a very different time.
Anyway, what's the point of this walk down memory lane? Completely unrelated. I was cooking meat and noodles (aka spaghetti if you're older than 6) when I took a quick break to capture two of my favorite guys. Love them.
Their sweet faces....all mushed up close. Bubbles and a mohawk, funny boy.
This is what they do. Each night as I cook dinner, they hang out, chase Ty and Taryn around the house, chat with me as I cook, sneak a quick taste test and mosey around the house together....just like this....
Ok, now I think I owe Jase an apology...quite a few pics here and no "chandler smiles". I stand corrected ;)
So glad I let the spaghetti sit for a few minutes to capture these. I just love them.

Haahaa That is too funny. While I was in the hospital having my Youngest this past April. My hubby cooked hamburger helper with no Hamburger. lol. My Daughter who's 8 asked me to never leave daddy to cook anything again..haha!

I think in the first one Taryn really has some Ty in him! (Which of course means Mom!) :) I heard the same thing about Nathan and my husband was kind of taken back at first, until we realized that it must be me! Funny, because he looks just like his Daddy's baby pictures!
