He's 11. Wow, it's funny how the older we both get, his birthdays are making me feel older than my own. Of course, we'll tell Ty's birth story in our house today, it's a favorite. Big party today, we're all ready for it. I've talked with Taryn every day for the last week and think we've come to an understanding about birthday cake candles. Guess we'll find out huh? I thought it would be fun to post a few of my favorite images of Ty from the past year. He's grown sooooooo much, probably more than any other year height wise.

Happy birthday to Ty! His birth story made me weepy! You put into words so beautifully what it feels like to hold your new child in your arms, those very first moments. Gorgeous!

So great reading Ty's birth story, he made a grand entrance and one to be noted for all time...My best entrance of Ty was when you and Jason became engaged and I knew we would have a grandson...I still rememeber him singing Toby Keith's song "Talkin About Me" and knowing all the words at about 4 years old...What a treasure he has added to our life... He is so smart and has so much common sense, and is well beyond his years.I feel like Gee Gee, one of these days he might pass us by, but if we are important in his life now, we will have some great memories and he will too...
