So true. We just finished celebrating the big two here and this post really made me sad :( I can't believe that just 2 years ago, my house looked like that...:(

I agree with the above commenter. My guy is hitting 19 months and I miss the days of having a baby.

I love this! Seriously... LOVE IT!! I think I might have to do this! It also makes me think more now about trying to "clean up" or move things that take away from the picture in the background... messy toys, dirty bottles, unfolded laundry, etc. That is how our life is right now so that is what I should capture to remember. Thanks... you inspire me once again.

This post could have been mine... Ethan is our last too and just like you say, all those firsts (and lasts) are bittersweet. I have some similar pics, but not all... We have long since not been using bottles, but I still have them all in a bag so I can put them out just like they used to be for the sake of a picture. Man, I need to get on that because it's just plain silly now. But I never got the picture in real time. There are other similar photos I have to get... It makes me sad to know this is it. Yes, we may have grandchildren one day to love and cuddle, and that will be wonderful in itself, but it won't be the same as having our own.

Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring. I am so enjoying your photos and stories about your family...

From one OCD person to another this typically drives people nuts.. but kudos to you for enjoying it for what it is! Can you sprinkle some of that new baby powder over my way? =)

This is our last too and she's 8 weeks already. Smiling, cooing and all. It's so sweet but just a reminder of how fast she's growing! My sister had her little baby girl yesterday and I got a reality check on just how big my little baby has grown!! You're right....no matter the clutter, the late nights, the cries, middle of the night feedings, etc. you just have to enjoy it all. It passes by way too quick and when you know it's your last one it's even worse:( I feel your need to capture it all, my camera is getting quite the workout!

I really love the details you captured- takes me back!

This is really adoreable. Love how you capture it how it really is. I want to ask about the picture that is the third one down 2nd one in. What is that? Are they blocks? they are really cute. Would love to know more. Love watching your family grow.
